Located in the upper Laurentians, the Club du Lac d'Argent was founded in 1924 under the legislation on fishing & hunting clubs. Since its establishment, the CLA has distinguished itself as one of the most prestigious and acclaimed fishing and hunting club in the province of Quebec. Nowadays, the institution has preserved its unique atmosphere buried deep into the Boreal Forest and remained a quiet haven, remotely isolated from large cities. The CLA is an exceptional site to relax in the great outdoors, enjoy the exclusive lake and its variety of fish, and experience the extraordinary ambiance created amongst members.

Positioned near Ste-Anne-du-Lac, the site covers roughly 250 square kilometers and borders two controlled parks: the Mitchinamecus ZEC and the Le Sueur Zec. Three hours away from Montreal and Ottawa, the facilities are easily accessible by car and are reachable by paved roads. Our territory is surrounded by hundreds of kilometers of unpaved paths, allowing ATV passionates and nature enthusiasts to walk or ride and discover a diverse ecosystem.

OUR SERVICES

Fishing

Fishing can be practiced on more than twenty lakes, all equipped with its own boat at member's disposal. These lakes are the natural habitats of a wide range of fish including Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, and Perch. With the exception of one lake, all species are indigenous and native to their respective habitats.

Hunting

Our territory is suitable for an array of species to hunt including moose, bear, partridge, pheasant, and more. It is also possible to hunt deer on public land adjacent to the Mitchinamecus ZEC.

Relaxation

In addition to offer a multitude of outdoor activities, the Club du Lac d'Argent is also a place of relaxation where members go to escape the city's hassle and enjoy network-free stress-free location. Bordering the lake lays a recently built wooden deck with central a fireplace illuminated by a series of hanging light bulbs, a perfect setup to enjoy the night sky with close friends.

The Club du Lac d'Argent offers a unique lodging experience in the Upper Laurentians, located in the heart of the Canadian wilderness.

The CLA offers delicious gourmet meals that are guaranteed to delight members who gathered in the main dining room, which can accommodate to 30 people. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are home cooked an prepared by a team that also offers a full service, members do not have to worry about any aspect of preparing food whatsoever.
